Why's that? Another Pascal-complaint? unC0Rr said not once or twice - he won't change the language since it took him so long to develop the engine. If you want, I don't think there will be objections if you rewrite the whole thing in C/C++/Java/C# or whatever language you like.

Inane comment too, since in what possible universe could a fully GPL'd, open source game, with ports to multiple platforms, and packages for the major linux distros and bsd, be not considered open source friendly.
And as for the pascall, free pascal is also open source, and cross-platform.
