Due to the partially massive downtimes our repository at fireforge.net wasn't accessible most of the time over the last few weeks which slowed down development a lot. Similar things happened to the official server - you probably noticed - that was hosted there as well.
For now we're located at Google code!
There is a new repository as well as a new issue tracker and a (empty) wiki.
Nothing has changed for building hedgewars on your own. However there is a new repository URL as well as new software: We're now using Mercurial instead of SVN so you might have to grab that first.
Read on for some basic instructions on how to get the source code now.

Checking out the source code for the first time requires you to perform the following command. The last parameter defines the local directory where you'd like to put the files:
hg clone https://hedgewars.googlecode.com/hg/ hedgewars
Please note that the initial checkout might take some time and might be slower compared to SVN due to the system downloading the whole repository and not just the latest versions of the files! Just give it some time.
Updating your source code copy later on works quite similar to SVN. However you shouldn't forget that you'll have to "pull" as well as "update" - both things can be done issuing one singe command:
hg pull -u
If you'd like to use the ticket tracker you'll have to sign up for a Google account first. If you somehow don't trust Google or see some other reason for not creating one, feel free to continue using our feedback forum.
