How do you make a hand-drawn map?

This may seem like a newbie question, but that's because IT IS. So, how? Am i missing something?

When you have selected hand drawn map you should click on the map preview (will be empty) and then the map editor will open. After you are done the preview should show your map.
One of those hedgewars developers. I am specially knowledgeable in lua scripting, and the father of gameplay scripts.
I think when you select the hand drawn map it should say on the preview 'Click here to draw/load hand drawn map.' or something like that.
