I had an idea for hand drawn maps today for future versions. The basic idea is that you would draw a map and then destroy parts of it to be saved as the final version. Sounds crazy, I know, but think of it this way: you could make craters in your maps instead of flat surfaces, you could put some pickhammer or blow torch passages in, or you could place a few girdirs to be saved on the map, you could even place 2 portals from one side to the other that would always be on the map.
