Can't play multiplayer

What's happenin' forums?
I can't seem to play multiplayer games, may it be through the single-player menu, or on the official server. When the game has been set up, and the start button is pressed, the loading screen shows up, and instead of going to a game, it returns to the menu I just started the game from. The problem is identical for multiplayer vs. AI or on the official server.
I can play "Simple Games".
I'm using Windows.
Please help!
What version of Hedgewars are you running? Also, does the frontend provide you with any kind of message when it returns to the menu? You could be doing something silly like putting too many hogs on a small map, or playing with 3+ teams on "divided teams" mode.

I'm using 0.9.15, and frontend isn't giving me error messages.
