[ubuntu 11.04 - 0.9.16-1~getdeb1] can't host LAN game

Hi everyone,
i'm using that version of Ubuntu with that version of Hedgewars, got from playdeb, the problem is can't create new game in LAN modality, or rather, i CAN join hosted game but i CAN'T create game to hosting others.
Note that problem appears only in LAN modality, not in official server one.
I've simply installed binary package from playdeb.
Any suggestions?Is that a "bug" on binary compilation on playdeb?

The latest version of the server (since about March, 2011) requires libghc base 4.3. Ubuntu only packages libghc base 4.2 (even in Oneiric).
Rather than exclude Ubuntu users entirely, PlayDeb packaged it without the server.
You are welcome to do your own server build, of course.
