Google announced to close Google Code in the next years:

This means the Hedgewars developers need to migrate all the stuff to somewhere else.
Great care needs to be taken especially for the developer wiki and the issues, it would be extremely dumb if this wiki gets lost in the process.

Any suggestions for a different hosting platform?

I know from Naev that the migration tools for GitHub are not perfect. I am not sure if it is correct, but as far I know, you will lose all user information; the issue “owners” on GitHub will simply be assigned to a single dummy user. The original user name / e-mail adress is written in the issue itself.
This may be pretty annoying, I guess.
