No, I think it's a very good idea. A couple of jokes - it's okay. But it happened to me too. Cute, they didn't know I could understand what they were writing. Words like "d*ck","fuck you" etc. are offend to such game. I understand if it was that shitty CS. But this isn't.

Now here is a problem that may occur - continues kicking (not in the balls...gun ). Some people are just nasty and will kick you if for example they see that they'll loose. So it's a lot more complicated then it might seem to be. Some chat-rooms use filtering system, but it isn't perfect too. If you say "Piece of shit!" it might be for a missed shot or an abuse to someone. A knife with two blades.

anyways, on-topic: I think there should be a setting that if you've been kicked from a server you cannot re-join for a minute (Make it I.P based or people will just change their name..), and the moderator of the room cannot kick anyone else for another minute to save the abuse of kicking people.

Of course this is only a theory, but since person A might not be alone (and want be, because there are a lot of teens who desperately seek some old wrinkled lady to take their virginity) and have some swearing company, things might get really gross. Variant 1: so everyone begins to use "cute" words to describe some not so nice sexual abuses of someone's mama, and soon parents forbid their children to play this game, and lobby/games will be flooded with old perverts who seek young mind-twisted flesh to satisfy their manly needs) . Variant 2: if most people don't like the idea of becoming a subject of someone's sexual fantasies, they'll stop playing it.

I've just played a couple of rounds with a very "polite" person. He offended not only me, but each and everyone in the game. Asking him to leave didn't work. One of the players left because he was in the team with this person and all he got was shouting and IDIOT as form of adress. So:
What happened to the idea of "in-game kick"?
Are you planning to add such feature? It's very annoying when someone's behaving like a bloody c*ck and spoils the whole game.

Doesn't matter. The point is that it's not a single case. It would be nice if the host has the ability to kick such individuals (well, if he's the trouble-maker it'll be more difficult ).

Why not a command like "/disablechat user" that disable the chat input of this user? Sincerely I think that chat in game with other players is fun, disabling it cuts out a really big part of the game.

Very good, Koda and daimadoshi85. This is much better than the kick option, since it might happen that the person, who abuses, is the host. So a kick will be impossible in this case. But disabling chat with a particular player won't spoil the game. I love chatting while playing. It's fun and I agree with you. When disabling this option for person X, it won't spoil the game (unless it's 1 vs. 1, but that's not a problem too, 'cause silence is better than constantly being insulted).

At the moment I think that this feature should be like this:

* in game, a command to disable chat (for a specific user or not)
* in lobby, a method to kick the user if he continue with his behaviour.

For this second feature I think that there should be a some kind of system of privileges, for example, there should be some 'moderator users' that are the only one that can kick the user from the server.

Well, this feature is going to become not very easy.

using '/ignore'. it has worked perfectly in other games. I see no reason why it shouldn't work fine here
