First off, big fan of Hedgewars. You guys are doing a great job.

However, you are missing a few of the things that I so dearly love in wxxxs 2.

The air-strike doesn't make a terrifying sound.

Where the team names are indicated down at the bottom, it should flash the team who turn it is, this allows for easy identification during hog stack ups.

When hog do stuff, there should be a little message displayed at the top from some all seeing entity, it summarizes the turn and is usually fairly entertaining.

Benny kills a worm.
Msg: Benny wastes no time, only hogs.

Msg: Special Delivery!

And finally.. the graphics used in the count down timer do not fit with the rest of the games solid vector look. They are very cheaply bezel and embosed, they should be changed to just be white without any modification, they will look much better.

I hope you'll consider these ideas, thanks again for the great game.

About the flashing names - cool. Yet I'll add here something about 'em names Wink Smiley When a team's destroyed, let his name disappear, or at least go somehow aside. Something like this:

Now team B dies and we have:

Better is either this:

It's sometimes annoying on some maps if there are 5 teams playing and you're somewhere down there a little above the water surface. The stats hide your hedgehog and if you can't move your view any lower and there is for example a pixel field, you won't be able to see it Sad Smiley So make it either for every dead team to disappear complete, or align it horizontally to the bottom border so that it doesn't hide the map view, which is more important than some stats Geek

Or assign a key for switching stats off. Like *delete* does for by-hog info.

The airstrike sound needs work, that's true. Unfortunately much of the sound effects do, we have no sound guy at the moment.. I'm still looking for one, if I can't find one soon I might take a crack at doing it myself though I'm not sure how succesful that will be.

The flashing team names is a great idea and I'll make sure that gets implemented at some point.

The announcer messages summarising the round have been planned for a long time and will definitely make it in there.

The count down timer graphics have already been changed and will be in 0.9.10, out soon!

Hmm

1.Sound by Teleport or by Uppercut
2.Sound min-max option (the musik is too laud)
3.More Secret Weapons (Poison-Dust-bomb or jetpack)
4.Auto Generated Maps
5.Teams can pick his color himself
6.Start a Game is only on butom not 1 for all and a general start butom

i like the idea of blinking teamname, and I like also the idea to delete team that lose,

about the sound is a different speech, many "weapon" need sound like steelbars and teleport

Steel bars IMO are fine without, but Baseball bat, teleporter etc really can do with some sounds. Smile

but you need to know when steelbar is placed or not...
don't hear this sound make me nervous, expecially when I'm not the guy that place the bar.
