When I start singleplayer game in Hedgewars. Game failes to load game and it gives this message :
"Last two engine messages:
Loading C:/Program Files/Hedgewars 0.9.13/share/hedgewars/Data/Graphics/Splash [flags: 7]... failed due to size"
What i have to do to fix this problem?
Please help!
This is very odd.
What's your graphics hardware and driver version? What OS are you running?
If possible, upload your "debug0.txt" to some website, e.g. pastebin.org. You can find it within "~/.hedgewars/" on Unix/Linux or "%userprofile%/.hedgewars" on Windows.
Hey. One of our new developers (Hi palewolf!) slipped up when he was adding splashes and didn't limit graphic size.
Here's my suggestion.
1) Download http://m8y.org/hw/Data.zip
2) Go to your Hedgewars install, find the Data directory
3) One directory *above* Data, unzip that new Data.zip, overwriting the existing splashes.
This will make the splashes invisible, but the game should load.
If it still has trouble, use Reduce Quality in options.
Alternatively, someone like Smaxx can create a fixed binary for windows using the new fixed graphic that is now in the 0.9.14 development code.
