Some thoughts about what could be better...
So this is not any whining its just from my point of view...
- There should be a way to restrict Access to a Game with a Password (for private games) maybe an additional marker in gamelist (open/private)
- I would like to have an option where every hedge has to be placed each one after another (in line of the players of course)
- Time for actions should be editable (standard time is 45sec i think, some additional different settings would be cool) maybe enter digit for timer more or less time
- more options for water position at start
- more options for endgame (sudden death, random barrel spwaning or somting else)
This game is awesome and i hope it gets better and better^^ I love the old worms and so this game too. Keep on working on this favourite game.

Guess you just played some quick games so far. In custom games (local or internet) you're able to use custom game schemes to define everything you mentioned except passwords and water position. Hedgehog placement, round time, rounds till Sudden Death, etc. are all editable.
You are right, i just found the settings to adjust these things.. damn blind eyes^^
some more options for sudden death, password protected games and the water position would be great although.. thx for the hint
