Hey guys,

Sorry for the long topic title. I'm new to both Ubuntu and Hedgewars, and I've had no dramas with operating the game itself. I was just wondering if there's a difference between the version of Hedgewars that's packaged with Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) and the one that you can manually compiled from the website.

I'd like to have the most up-to-date version, if possible, and I'm not sure if this is it. Thanks, and I hope I'm not wasting anybody's time!

Lucid has the same official version (0.9.13). I do not know any differences from 0.9.13 lucid vs 0.9.13 compiled.

Sure, you can grab svn (0.9.14?) and compile it...but you would not find anyone to play with, most of the time...

Its just a precompiled copy that should match the source tarball.

Thanks a lot, another friend of mine just cleared up some of the confusion.

Cheers.
