Shame, I figured you should at least attempt to make some of the major weapons similar to worms since that is what they are advertising hedgewars as. Roping was the main reason I even tried this game, but i just dont see the fast paced 10 second turn roper games i use to love happening with ropes as they are. By the looks of it, neither do they players since there are no roper games in the server ever.

No one is advertising Hedgewars anywhere as worms. Hedgewars is trying to be its own game while acknowledging the inspiration.

Hedgewars roping is unique to it.

I find it funny you say there are no roping games ever.
In fact, I find there's too much shoppa on the hedgewars server and it crowds out other game types.

Fortunately addition of new modes encourages people trying other variations, such as Portal games or CTF.

Shopper is nothing like roper, there are a lot of those around.

is it possible to make a mode that you can enable that will make the rope behave like worms? keeping the rope the way it is by default.

I am currently trying to adapt to the rope style here, however since the rope never mirrors and takes a long time, im finding speed almost impossible to get.

Dont think that something must be changed. Behavior of rope is unique and many players like it. This game has similar genre to Worms, but its not a clone of Worms.

Yeah, not clear why Google says that. Certainly it is not on the site. Someone might have edited some Google site config once, but not something anyone here has control of.

And reviewers, yes, can't control what they say. Does not mean they are right though.
