some weapon tweak suggestions

1. Seduction, Pickhammer and Hammer should have a retreat time.

2. Hammer needs a *thump* sound, and should do 1 damage to a hog with 1 health. Maybe it could immobilise a hog for a turn. It also really needs an animation or something.

3. Mudball should have a bit more knockback, and could stick to the ground if it misses a hog.

4. Rename "teleportation" to "teleport". Differentiating from wurmz just for the sake of differentiating is pointless, pick the less unwieldy one...

5. The new mines aren't that great, and I think they'd look better without the spikes. Warmux (Wormux) does at least get this right, its mines are quite unique.

6. Sniper rifle should cut deeper into the terrain. This would give it some more applications.

7. Poison could spread to other hogs on contact. Reduce poison damage from 5 to 4.

8. Wurmz had a skipping rope for skip, far more fitting than a surrender flag. I'm not sure how you can copy this without people complaining though.

9. Cap grenade damage at 45-49.

10. Blowtorch and portal gun need sounds.

Any thoughts?

2. Good idea. And i would really think about increasing the damage to 50% (like in worms) instead of 33% which is too less for a weapon you have got only 1x.

3. Good idea. Mudball is useless at the moment and most people wish to entirely remove it. So give it a special function (like stick on the ground to "build" new terrain.

5. Well the spikes are... okay. But I would change the colour back to green/red!

7. No, spreading by single contact is not okay. Reducing damage to 3, or let it by 5, but not 4.

8. Good idea. Surrender flag isn't right for skipping round. I would use surrender flag when a player left. Then all his hedges hold up the white flag until theys completely disappeared.

9. Cap grenade?

10. You could also give flames a nice, decent effect!

All other mentioned points = good ideas

GirderGirderGirder Additional ideas:

A) Increase efficiency of the napalm strike. In comparison to worms and the long duration until you can use this weapon, it does too less damage.

B) Increase efficiency of the homing-bee. Sorry, its really more a drunken than a homing bee. Decrease its radius when flying fastly. Also as it is a weapon you can only use once, damage could be higher 55-60LP as well as the explosion radius (+15-20%)

C) Moltotov-Cocktails should cause up to 25LP additional damage by direct hit and create a little crater (compare with a single cluster), like in worms. Hey, no hedge likes it to get hit by a bottle on his head! The flames can be re-strengh by shooting with explosive warheads on the area, like in worms too.

D) Cake sometimes stucks between a barrel and diagonal terrain. Fix that.

E) Improve Birdy and UFO, so they can be more easily controlled.

Plan to change seduction entirely. Disagree on pickhammer.

Mudball does a hell of a lot of knockback already. You just have to throw it right. At maximum speed, without considering wind, it can knock a hog higher/farther than a firepunch, and ranged.

Going to ignore 4 5 and 8, disagree on 6, 7 would be OP w/ that change, although it had been suggested before.
9 I kind of agree with, although we'd get that change if I stopped grenades from being able to embed in a hog, although only way I can think of to do that is tracking current hog as a bit in the collision array, which would be unfortunate.

Seduction is changing? Hopefully not too much, it's an interesting and unique weapon.

Re mudball, I've never seen it have knockback comparable to fp, so I'd love to see this.

Re sniper rifle and pickhammer retreat time, would love to see some more opinions.

7 was just an idea, maybe create a new, milder poison effect for this purpose.

Laser sight activate
Mine tick (or something)
Another tap sound, maybe for a barrel
