i update something go wrong

so i updated hw and lost all maps and scropts :F
what went wrong is this normal?

Not sure of your OS, but at present, maps and scripts are installed in the global dir (0.9.16 you can install in your profile).
As a result, if the installer is one that erases the existing dir, then you will lose maps and scripts, unless you backed up.

Alternatively, you could have installed to a new directory. Thus, all your maps and scripts could be sitting in your 0.9.15 install folder. It's possible to have both versions of the game at the same time.
