I had bad sound for few effects on FreeBSD - namely shotgun reload, minetick and few others, after inspecting ogg files for those I noticed that all of them are 22.05kHz while other files have 44.1, after converting those files to sample rate of 44.1kHz all sounds the way it should

I believe this could be issue on other operating systems as well

EDIT: (08-August-2009) - "(...)far from the HW's style" - This is in fact so true. We use this map for our own fun only. Maybe later, we could develop and share more HW´s styled maps.
