Hi, guys. Smile

A long time ago (maybe not that long) I asked Armagon if he can give me some tipps how to make a nice hedgehog's voice with good quality. Well, I tried and tried. Didn't work quite as good as I expected (because of crappy sound card and mirophone Big Grin). But just a couple of minutes ago I decided to try again. After some time of playing with pitch, tempo (raising and lowering it) and hiss reduction, I think I finally succeeded with a decent quality, almost the same tempo of the original song but nicely pitched up voices (only at the end there is some pretty noticable trembling, which I will probably remove if I decide to have more fun with this). Smile Since I love retro, I decided to pick a particular song for my lab-rat. It's called "Civilization" (aka "Bongo Bongo Bongo") by Andrews Sisters and Danny Kaye (love the Andrews Sisters! Big Grin). Here it is:
Civilization
Feedback highly appreciated!

Cheers,
rbaleksandar

PS: I'd like to ask someone with more experience in this how can I remove the instruments and leave just the voice. Because I've notice that the instruments cause pretty big part of the whole trembling during the whole track. So if I can filter them out and be able to work only on the voice, it'll be much much better.
I've read about taking the instrumental (no voice) and inverting it. After that applying it on the track (with the voice). From physics we know (hopefully Big Grin) that a wave and it's inverted clone "exclude" each other that is - the one destroys the other and there's nothing left. BUT in there is a "flaw" in this theory - you have to have two tracks (one with voice and instruments, and another only with instruments) with 1:1 quality (or as close as you can get it), which is kind of difficult to find. Sad Smiley Yet, [i]I might try this. It'll do and [i]I might get a pretty decent quality.

Here's a pretty cool tutorial using Audition (previously known as Cool Edit (Pro)).

I do believe that if I take one track and remove the vocals from it, than invert it, and apply it on the same track (but with the vocals), it'll do!

Here is my Unofficial Manual for HW. Hope you like it. Wink Smiley Still working on it. Don't worry. Will get it finished...Sometime in the future. Big Grin
