Is possible to include in the install script the creation of an entry in the games menu?

this means that with make install the icon will go in the menu?
Not with make install, it's automatic. When you choose to install the game the script create a menu entry for the game.

I understand but the make install should be capable to put the icon in the menu...
Developers thought out, that it is maintainer who is responsible for the menu icon
i can understand
