What's the difference if I sign in to play on the official server with my registered name versus one that isn't registered?

I'm working on a number of missions and a possible campaign for Hedgewars 0.9.15. I get a fair deal of testing done through the #hedgewars IRC channel, but I was wondering if there are other forumites (who run the up-to-date dev. version of hedgewars) who would be interested in testing some maps and giving me feedback.

Hey i downloaded the game from ur website "the direct download given for Microsoft Windows" and installed it. All went well.But i started the game and chose the single player mode against computer but the game never starts(the situation is the same for every mode). I just see a background with trees and a message at the top left corner given In game...

I disabled my firewall "Comodo" but still the same issue.
I am using Windows XP SP2 and to check again , i installed it on my laptop with Windows 7 64 bit and again the game stops at "In game..."

i hope i would get a solution for this as soon as possible. any kind of help would be deeply appreciated...Thanking all in advance...OOOh plz am so crazy to play this game.

There are many lame players out there, who quit after he fails. I think every one hates it, especially when you play team play, and you need to restart the game.

Yes, i can understand, when some one quits, because he has slow internet connection, but... when he makes stupid move (fails), quits after that... fffuuuuu!
