[Theme] Sky
Some of you may noticed that I like doing themes...
Here's another one. It's "official" one, which means that I used Inkscape, followed style guidelines and I'll want to have it included for Hedgewars.
Here are some screenshots: (scroll few posts down for current LandTex)
(that weird green thing is supposed to be beanstalk)
Notice the water here (my favorite):
Brief SD look:
And new beanstalks (any beanstalks on previous screenshots are outdated):
And here's the download:

Any comments? :P
For some reason, some of the elements don't seem to play well together. Or is it just me? Also, should lightning/rain be solid (like now) or passable?
[Grave] Wuzzy’s Selected Graves (version 1)
Wuzzy’s Selected Graves is a collection of graves by various community members, hand-picked by me.
Included graves
39 graves are included (11 animated graves + 28 unanimated graves):
Graves with an asterisk are animated.
Most graves have been taken from this thread: Graves! additions, submissions, information.
Download and installation
This grave pack can be downloaded from my server:
If you downloaded this file, you have to put the file into:
- GNU/Linux: ~/.hedgewars/Data
- Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Hedgewars/Data
- Windows: %USERPROFILE%\Hedgewars\Data
How to get your grave into the grave pack
Post in the graves thread as usual, I'll do the rest. Whenever I feel like it, I will update this grave pack. I will not include all graves and I will be pretty selective. These are my (rough) inclusion criteria:
- Grave must not be already in Hedgewars
- It should be more or less fit the Hedgewars graphcis style
- It should be unique (I want to have a diverse grave pack)
- It should be clearly visible on all backgrounds. Using a contour can help a lot
- It should be more or less properly aligned to the floor. I don't want to have “floating” graves.
- For gameplay reasons, it should be clearly recognizable as a grave. Graves which may be confused with other objects or graves which are barely visible will not be included
- The author must not be against inclusion (posting in the graves thread counts as an “OK” to me)
If you want to have a particular name, either upload the grave with the correct name or write the desired name in your post.
[Mission] Shoppa Training
Based on ShoppaTraining_v2 by TheMadCharles (from this thread), I have made a Shoppa Training mission.
It's very simple: Each turn a target and a weapon crate spawn. There is no goal, but you can try to destroy the crate as fast as possible and become better for Shoppa. Play as long as you wish.
That's basically it. The rest is “just” gimmicks.
Here you can download the Shoppa Training:
https://bitbucket.org/Wuzzy2/hedgewars-wuzzy4/raw/18ecb569c6ac3fbbeb7f2be60e6dbadfb1b60d93/share/hedgewars/Data/Missions/Training/ShoppaTraining.lua
Rightclick the above link and save the file into Data/Missions/Training.
I have put much effort into making this thing useful for you to keep track of your Shoppa skills.
First of all, your time is displayed for each collected crate and for each destroyed target.
The training keeps track of skill levels which you can try to increase over time (all of this is optional and just for fun):
- Speed: Destroy x targets in row in under y seconds per turn
- Endurance: Destroy x targets in row
- Safety: Destroy x targets without taking damage in between
Speed level 1 should be possible for beginners with 4 targets in under 75 seconds each. The hardest part in Speed level 1 is not the time, but to not screw up.
Average Shoppa players should at least reach Speed level 5: 8 targets in 30 seconds each.
The highest Speed level is level 9 with 12 targets and 15 seconds each.
The other skill levels are mainly there to motivate you to not screw up your turns, even if you are too slow to advance to the next Speed level.
There are also a few hidden additional achievements for some sick Shoppa skills.
[Theme] Mirage
Another of my "unofficial" themes.
prepear ur eyz, cuz its a
MIRAGE
Featuring:
Invisible objects:
Fake objects:
Objects with fake masks:
Fancy girders:
A cup or two faces?
Also, illuminati confirmed:
And many more...
This is also the first theme with "animated" sky. Did the same with water, but it's less visible due to small texture.
Enjoy (or not XD)

Made entirely with my new editor.
tl;dr - a gimmick theme about optical illusions
[Names] New Random Names (version 1)
This is more a like a silly experiment than anything else. Don't take it too serious.
This package contains a large (but not huge) set of random names to make random teams a bit more interesting. Many names are from random name generators off the Internet but some names were invented by myself.
Download it here:
If you put this HWP file into your Data/ directory, the set of random names and hats for random teams (creatable in the team editor) and quick matches (in singleplayer) will greatly increase.
The current default set has a rather small set of random names and teams and it gets repetitive quickly. This HWP may get repepetitive, eventually, too, but it will take longer.
Two random example teams:
IMPORTANT: The names in this name pack have been (mostly) included in Hedgewars 0.9.23. When 0.9.23 gets released, you should delete this HWP file because it will be outdated then.
