Using Custom Themes Online?

Hello again! I was wondering if there would be a way to play custom maps with online players. Whenever I try to do it, only I can see my map, and the other player(s) see nothing I guess. Is custom music the problem? I think it would be cool in a future update to allow us to use custom maps online.

or a map you create with photoshope, inskape or gimp and added in data/maps ?
if it is a drawn map i don't know
if it is a map you create, you have to share it online, other player have to download and install it to play with you, that the same for themes
I know that you can use drawn maps online, but i'm talking about maps made with GIMP and stuff. Thanks for the reply! That was really helpful. Do you know when/if the developers will add a custom maps feature?

What do you mean by custom maps feature?
Something like running a room on the server with a custom map that nobody else has, but they can still play it. That would be cool

I read earlier that a feature like that is either extremely hard or impossible. So we just have to stick with sharing it. :L
