How Do I Load Content Pack?

Hi All,
I've been unable to load any content packs.
* I've downloaded the content packs: Consumerism 1.1b; Diagonal Maze, v1; and Poison Graves, v2.
* I've placed the .hwp files in my ~/.hedgewars/Data directory (I'm running Linux).
* I've restarted Hedgewars (v0.9.17)
No new options have appeared. I'm looking for one of my content packs to appear as a game option under Style, Scheme, or Weapons, but only the default options are present. Any ideas about what I might be doing wrong?
Any suggestions much appreciated!

Welcome to the forums!
I don't think 0.9.17 supported the *.hwp format yet.
(Which is actually just a zip file).
So if you do not want to update to a newer version of Hedgewars:
you could unzip the *.hwp manually into the ~/.hedgewars/Data directory and then (re)start hedgewars and hope that the stuff you just unzipped is still compatible to your old version of Hedgewars.

Thanks for the quick reply. I installed a newer version (quite a task, since it wasn't in the Ubuntu software center). Now the content packs load fine.

FWIW, 0.9.20 should be in the ubuntu software centre all the way back to 12.04
You have to enable backports though.
