Screen edges cut off

Hi there,
just installed Hedgewars 0.9.22 on a new machine, and am having issues with the outer portions of the screen being cut off, especially the timer and weapon select menu.
Have tried running it windowed and fullscreen, tinkering with various resolutions and changing my monitor resolution but with no results.
Monitor natively outputs 1920x1080, running headgewars at lower resolutions reveals a little more of the screen edges but not enough to make it playable, any suggestions from the community?
Hm, that's odd. Are you running a multi-screen setup maybe?
As workaround you could try pressing F12 (fullscreen toggle) once or twice, or manually resizing the game window while the game is running/paused.

Hi, single screen set up here, tried the toggling with F12 after seeing it recommended in another thread, but no luck sadly, will try manually resizing the window
Edit: managed to get it atleast playable by running it in an 800x600 window
any more details on your setup? OS? HDPI monitor?

I'm afraid I have the same problem on my laptop here.
Windows 8.1 x64 is my OS
