It isn't, the main code repository is here https://hg.hedgewars.org/hedgewars/ Or there's a mirror at https://github.com/hedgewars/hw

I think, it will be useful to add another download mirror located on a sourceforge.net and inscrease the auditory. I request to add this page.

Why? GitHub is the most popular repository host, I don't see many projects using Sourceforge. Also the biggest problem is that someone would have to maintain that mirror.

This project, for example: https://sourceforge.net/projects/zero-ad/ has 350 downloads every week. https://sourceforge.net/projects/glest/ - 110 downloads every week. https://sourceforge.net/projects/unknownhorizons/ - 35 downloads every week. https://sourceforge.net/projects/freeciv/ - 1140 downloads every week. I wonder to know how many downloads will have hedgewars after opening official sourceforge page.

Sourceforge is a good site. But if you will watch at bad russian piracy site old-games.ru, everyone will become fall in hard despair - download counter of pirated diablo and illegal cnc red alert 2 will be near 600 000 downloads, this number is compatible with population of a big city! Russian piracy is a great evil! Russian pirates and hackers must die! Fffffuuuuu~
I wonder to know how many downloads will have hedgewars after opening official sourceforge page.
I bet it would be around the same as now. You wrongly assume that all users who download these games on Sourceforge discovered them on that website. Maybe they just came to Sourceforge from Youtube or official sites or Twitter. Hedgewars' marketing is pretty non-existent, so it's more difficult to discover.

If you're writing something like this, what kind of information are you're trying to hide from us? Nothing? Did you downloaded something illegal?
What about piracy?
Not sure what it has to do with the topic xd But the principle is the same. You listed popular games and piracy scale is proportional to the game's popularity. If a game is trash or not well-know, you will have a hard time finding a torrent for it.

To give an "official" answer: No, Hedgewars does not have a Sourceforge page, and it is not planned to add one. My personal opinion is, I just don't see any benefit in having a Sourceforge page. Sourceforge is semi-well-known but I doubt that alone will lead to a meaningful popularity boost. Also, Sourceforge is a developer website, not a gamer website (just like GitHub). I do have nothing against Sourceforge in particular, however. I just think it isn't really needed for us. Yes, there does exist a GitHub mirror, but for strange historic reasons, I have no idea who controls this. It is very old, but it is functional. If we aim to be more popular, I think we need to use a completely different strategy. Currently, Hedgewars really, really struggles in finding a healthy sizable playerbase. Online, Hedgewars just has barely enough players to get maybe 1-2 games going, but at other times at the day, you gen get unlucky and find nobody. (At least there's a singleplayer mode, I also want to greatly expand singleplayer in the future.) I am not experienced in marketing at all, and frankly, I hate this type of work (although it is neccessary). It would be nice if someone could step up and try to spread the word for us, this would be a great way to help Hedgewars! Smile
Hi, I am a Hedgewars developer. Smile

Dear Wuzzy! Greetings. I glad for your answer. The news about missing sourceforge page made me dissatisfied. If your community will permit me to host sourceforge page with game files and source code, I will host it in a short time. I will wait your answer (permisdion/restriction).
