The last days i considered, if i could make an own & new script for HW (http://www.hedgewars.org/node/3696) without experience in that...

To practice coding, I created a mutation of "highlander"... HEAVY HIGHLANDER
In this mode you only get significant weapons. It's a little bit more action and nice to play in big maps with many hogs!
I took the highlander-script from "mikade" (thanks! hope, that's ok for you) as template and changed some things.

There are only small modifications - but big changes compared to how playing highlander usually:
1- You can't have bad luck with weapons, cause nearly everything you get is usefull.
2- New utilities (vampirism, timebox, extratime and switch - some only in crates!) give new/other possibilities.
3- PickHammer instead of Kamikaze to free hogs. Basically similar effect, but totaly different way to play!
4- It's no longer urgently necessary to kill the strongest hog, because everyone has good opportunites.

What's the difference from normal mode:
- modified available weapons & utility (taken out: Mortar, Bee, Grenade, ClusterBomb, Molotov, Limburger, Flamethrower, SineGun, Firepunch, Whip, Seduction, Sniper, Desert Eagle, Seduction, Parachute, Lasersight)
- pickhammer instead of kamikaze (trapped hogs can free themself with PickHammer and their weapon now.

Hi!

I try to create a new mode/script. For that, i took the "highlander.lua" and learn how that works.
I'm not a coder, but interested in it. I hope it works...

I found this, and wanted to change the Medi-Packs:

I want weapon boxes to be included, so I changed the "100" (isn't that the percent-number?), but no Weaopon-Boxes appear!? No matter, if I change it to 5, 20 or 50. Only Medi-Packs!

Where do I have influence for that in the "highlander.lua"?
Is there a special command?

so you know how hedgewars is a cool open source clone of worms so i was wondering how much is it legal to do it? did the developers of worms contacted you in anyway or asked you to stop developing hedgewars?
the reason im asking this is because i think about progamming an open source clone of heroes of might and magic 3 and im not sure if its legal and all my work will go for nothing....

Doom doom doom. It has been a while but in this week, 19 to 24 August i will try to contact the winner of the tourney (raddisthor) for the prizes (of course,bufon and solar too).

Those quote means a lot. We've finally found a new champion that i'm not actually expected that he will win/won this tourney. Anyway, it's very good to win a tournament. The shoppa tournament was rarely organize with or without prizes. I'm so glad to organise this tournament even it was not success as i wanted to.

Best of all, the skills, techically, no one, not a single person can win any tournament with/using high-class skills. Let's take example of Blue. He is full of shoppa skills, but he still fail sometimes. It's normal anyhow.So don't get too upset of losing the games. You know, players with skills,luck,aggreasiveness and playing with NO fail could have a big chance to win a tournament.

We had no prizes for this tourney because the tournament owner has gone somewhere 'cause of losing his internet but wait...
