There are already 3 Mario themes, but each of them is pretty the same. I couldn't stand this lack of creativity, so I made my own one, different from these ones. It's a castle theme based on SNES graphics, with lava water and some more Mario things. There's also a nice music and Girder Tool skin is replaced by Mario platform. Very well done with nice attention to detail. Absolutely awesome! Big Grin side note: one of the (custom) girder rotations (the / one) has a glitch. Pixels from a different rotation frame are overlapping into that frame. EDIT: side note²: landbacktex can make it hard/impossible to see rest pixels of destroyed land, due to same/similar colors.

Thanks for feedback! Smile Fixed the glitch and made the back texture noticeably darker. I darkened it once before, but probably not enough.

Very nice theme! Nice work here.. I think this theme can be perfectly added to the DLC, not to the oficial game source trough it's not the kind of the graphic of the game. Wanna try to do cartoon style theme? Big Grin

[/quote] Nice, seems to be dark enough to be told apart from explosion/destruction edges now Smile Only thing left to suggest at this point: [list][*]Clouds and Flakes for SuddenDeath(SD)![/list] At the moment the default SDClounds/Flakes are used during suddendeath (red clouds and bones, skulls, etc) - which doesn't really fit this theme ^^ (Maybe deactivate clouds for SD and use fireballs as flakes or dunno, you probably have a better idea Smile )

Fixed the SuddenDeath. Flakes are fireballs and lava becomes hotter. I could make Bowser's flames as clouds, but they don't flip to direction and wind makes them fly backwards :/ I just changed the old ones a bit. SuddenDeath would be even better with another music instead of silence.

Sudden Death used to have music, the hell theme, but not everyone liked it. There was also the idea of using one of the main themes, but also, varying appreciation. Without music it does have a kinda high stakes tense play feel... We should allow it to be theme configurable though. Like, an sd-music key.

Is this theme still being developed? I have the following suggestions: - Add “flatten-clouds” and “flatten-flakes” into theme.cfg. With this, all clouds and flakes have the same size (especially the clouds looked odd without it). And they will always be in the background. - Fix the horizont. The file must be called “horizont.png”, not “Horizont.png”. Or was this intended? - I don't really like how Platform.png is used. Better use this as Girder.png instead and remove the Platform.png object. The current Girder.png is too thick IMO. - Add pipes without flowers - Add more blocks, i.e. used question mark - Maybe add hammerbro?

@Wuzzy I updated the cfg file with flatten- functionality. Clouds look better with this, but I liked the flakes in foreground. Anyways, changed them both of them, for better consistency. Renamed the Horizont as you suggested. The girder is like this, because it's castle. Platform as girder would fit for normal Mario theme. I used it like this, because it was good as wall object. I could use pipes, but there are already two of them. And I won't make pipes without flowers, the way they are better fits castle and makes them more dangerous. I'm not sure about more objects, the theme has already many of them (seriously, it has 11 and all default themes have up to 8). But I may add them. Anyways, you can download updated version. EDIT: Ok, I also added 3 new objects. As I expected, maps are more messy than ever Big Grin

The lava is now animated, there's a new interesting mudball (XD), SD got new clouds (although it would benefit from animated clouds too) and SD sky got reddish.
