I want to kindly ask if there are any criteria for community-made stuff to actually become an official part of Hedgewars.

First, I ask for general criteria (if any) and specifically, I ask for guidelines for:

• Hats
• Flags
• Graves
• Missions
• Campaigns
• (Multiplayer) Scripts
• Voicepacks
• Music
• Themes
• Maps [+]Forts
  

The only guideline I know is the Hedgewars Graphic Style, but this obviously does not apply to

I am asking because not a lot stuff has been added recently (okay, 2 new themes, which is big, but apart from that, not many things else).

Especially I want to see new inclusions for missions, graves, flags, maps and forts, because those haven't seen updates for quite a while.

It seems that most players play this for a while and then stop.

After 3 epic games we have the winners...!!!

Congratulations to the three finalists: Wuzzy, Randy and KompleX for being here. We wish to them the best!

Tournament ladder for this round...

The 3 matches will be played in this weekend, so stay on server to watch some nice action!

Let's talk about how this round will work. The first match will be Randy v. Wuzzy, then Randy v. KompleX and the last match of the tournament will be Wuzzy v. KompleX.

What will determinate the winner of the tournament?

Case A.

The player who wins his 2 matches will be the champion. And the other match will determine the 2nd and 3rd.

Case B.

If every player wins 1 game and loses the other. We will count in first term, how the score was in the Epic Final:

Example: Randy v. Wuzzy ends 3-0 for Randy. // Randy v. KompleX ends 2-3 for KompleX // Wuzzy v. KompleX ends 3-2 for Wuzzy. In this case the Winner will be Randy for difference of score (win/lost).

In second term, how the score was in the entery Tournament:

Example: The 3 games ends with the same score... 3-2. We will count how the score was in previous rounds...

KompleX's score history is: 2-0 // 2-0 and 3-2
Randy's score history is: 2-1 // 2-0 and 3-2
Wuzzy's score history is: 2-0 // 2-1 and 3-1

In this case the decisive match will be KompleX v. Wuzzy.

Argh! Why do I have the feeling that 90% of all public rooms are either in-progress, password-protected or access-restricted?

I wish Hedgewars would at least allow to filter the password-protected and access-restricted rooms.

I wonder whether people actually know they are preventing other people from access if the tick the “password” checkbox.

Yeah! Febraury 8th is finaly here and the registration for this epic tournament is open!

If you haven't done this before, you should read the main post of the tournament!

Let me remind you about some tournament's information.

The tournament will take place on Monday 16th of February! The first round will start that day. The second round will run the next week and so on. The estimated date of the end of the tournament is on Sunday 15th of March.

How and when can I sign up?

In order to participate you will have to register HERE .

Simply make a user account (if you already have one , please, do not create another one...) and leave a comment below.

Your comment must include your player name, the name of the team you plan to use in the tournament, and your time zone. The SIGN-UP Period starts with this thread and it will be close on 16th of February, giving you exactly ONE WEEK to sign up.

Whether you consider yourself skilled or not, everyone is free to join and take part in this tournament. There is no restriction. We encourage everyone to take part in this tournament and prove your skills. Remember, the idea of the tournament is to have fun.

There is no maximum number of players, the minimun number of players are 16.

• - Each game will use a variable of Default mode, called Default T. (Because there is a small change, the playing order must not be random).
