Tournament Date

The tournament will take place on Monday 16th of February! The first round will start that day. The second round will run the next week and so on. The estimated date of the end of the tournament is on Sunday 15th of March.

Sign-Up

How and when can I sign up?

In order to participate you will have to register in a future thread named as Hedgewars Tournament ‘15 SIGN-UP.
Simply make a user account (if you already have one , please, do not create another one...) and leave a comment at that thread. Your comment must include your player name, the name of the team you plan to use in the tournament, and your time zone. The SIGN-UP thread will be opened one week before the beginning of the tournament, on the 8th of February, giving you exactly ONE WEEK to sign up.

Whether you consider yourself skilled or not, everyone is free to join and take part in this tournament. There is no restriction. We encourage everyone to take part in this tournament and prove your skills.

Hello ropers, welcome to the thread you’ve all been waiting for.

We’re all excited to have you participate. So let’s get down to it!

Below are the match rules and guidelines.

All players must meet and accept the following conditions in order to participate.

• Have adequate time in order to play versus other players. This could mean having a flexible time schedule for the duration of the tournament, or having to play late-night matches with players from other parts of the world.
• Use only one Hedgewars Forum/Official Server account to sign up, post and participate in the tournament.
• Plan to participate with a “reliable” connection, with which at the minimum the player knows that he/she will not consistently disconnect during matches.

Match Rules & Guidelines

1. Each round will be played to the best of 3 games, except the semi final and final which will be played to the best of 5. Rounds may be played only on the following maps:
   
   1. Ropes
   2. ShoppaHell (Downloadable)
   3. ShoppaNeon (Downloadable)
2. All rounds must be played using the “Shoppa_Pro” style/script which can be downloaded from here http://bit.ly/1HFlPbg
3. Demos
   1. Demos of every match must be saved by both players as proof of the match being played.

Just curious. Why is there so much empty space left and right pf island on open maps.

I've just made a map at 4096px and when loaded up there is still loads of space I'd loved to use. Any reason why we cant tuck into that real estate

Whoa, Whoa. I can't find the download link for Hedgewars 0.9.21 for the Mac. I've been playing this since 0.9.13, from OS X Mountain Lion to the new, awful OS X Yosimite, and it's worked well for all of those versions. Did something change? Am I just not looking hard enough on the site?

hey, so there is this new Construction mode coming with the last release

and i browse the online game and didnt saw room playing it,
and i didnt played it alone,

so i dont really know how it looks like and how is supposed to be played

what i'm asking today is : do you have some demo or video of Construction mode to show me / us how to ? like a trailer or sth ?
